After a sabbath year the GPS is back. Agreed, even though in 2013 it was only one venue and as you will see later and only one round, it felt good to see the teams again and experience that particular beehive in pit. Scheveningen 2013 Grand Prix of the Sea race info
So finally the 2013 Grand Prix of the Sea will show what powerboating is all about. There will be German, Italian and British participants. We will certainly miss the very succesful Belgian team 2B1 Furnibo. They spiced up every race since they participated. Siracusa 2010 penalties weekend for evolution
As we just received the standings for rounds 9 en 10 it seems that penalties have changed the Endurance results for the Evolution Class. Buoy J knocking loose affected no less than 4 powerboats: nrs. 33, 88, 60 and 55. They all received a time penalty of 30 minutes after a protest of another Evolution Class team. (more…)

With winds around 4 Bft and gusts up to 5 the Powerpole was run in the beautiful deep blue waters of Siracusa under a burning sun. In Evolution Furnibo 2B1 (B) beat Snav Kiton Interporto Sud Europa (I) with almost 14 seconds which is a huge distance. Metamarine Foresti Suardi (I) follows on more then 13 seconds of Snav Kiton (I) and got 3rd place. (more…)

In Supersport we have 5 teams competing; in Evolution 7. Silverline Racing is back and we love to see them on the water again. Already many people stop when they see all these powerboats and the big cranes. At 16:30 hours the Powerpole will decide who will be starting where in the Sprint and Endurance race. (more…)
