The images show ‘our’ powerboat team Birretta Due (B) in action during the Cowes Classic 2016 in a very cool RIB. The British Powerboat Racing Club are pleased to announce the date of the Cowes Classic 2017: Saturday 26th August – Sunday 27th August (race day) 2017 (UK Bank Holiday Weekend). The Cowes Torquay Cowes will be UIM International Ordinary status for Marathon classes and will run under the same format as 2016.

2017 Belgian Championship Offshore
The Belgian Championship Offshore started many years ago, organized by a.o. Jean-Marie Van Lancker and Kris Deraedt. It was an instant success and it put Belgium on the powerboat racing map again. Then there was the financial crisis and times got tough. Since 2016 the BC Offshore is back. Starting slowly. Enough for powerboating.be to put this on the radar. Many powerboating fans were eager to see the new powerboating season kick off. Italy is the place to be. There is a new kid on the block: the Bernico 43 Leverage. Built by Nico Bertels this powerboat has some unique shapes. Very daring to say the least. The first leg of the V1 World Championship Powerboat had some surprises in store. This is a V1 only race starting in Venezia and finishing in Rimini.The route from Venezia up to Monte Carlo is a true adventure for the V hull powerboats.
