Op woensdag 29 april 2009 ging de eerste testrun door van het 2009 Supersport P1 team 'Spirit of Belgium' aan onze kust. Dit nieuw Belgisch team dat binnenkort hier op powerboating.be uitvoeriger voorgesteld zal worden, vaart met een Nor-Tech powerboat. De boot is bij velen gekend als de vroegere Q8 powerboat en bracht menig fanaat al in hogere sferen. Hieronder vind je in absolute premiere de allereerste foto's van de P1 Powerboat Spirit of Belgium. "We vonden Pegase bereid om als eerste belangrijke sponsor ons te ondersteunen bij onze P1-ambitie," aldus Filip Van Vlem, manager van Offshore Events. Het driekoppige team bestaat uit Micha Robijn (pilot), Patrick Huybreghts (throttleman) en Marc Sluszny (navigator). De powerboat vertrekt zondag richting Malta voor de eerste 'Powerboat P1 Grand Prix of the Sea' die doorgaat tijdens het weekend van 8 en 9 mei 2009. On Wednesday April 29 2009 the brand new Belgian P1 Supersport team Spirit of Belgium held a testrun along the Belgian coast. The team will compete during this season in a Nor-Tech powerboat. Here on powerboating.be you find the very first pictures of this Belgian P1 team. "Pegase is our first important sponsor", Filip Van Vlem stated. He runs Offshore Events, a well known Belgian company specialized in powerboat kicks. The Spirit of Belgium team consists of Micha Robijn (pilot), Patrick Huybreghts (throttleman) and Marc Sluzny (navigator). The powerboat will head for Malta on Sunday. TV-channel Exqi Sport will follow the team during this P1 season and broadcast the reports in full HD.
